General Questions

The BTX Studio offers personalized aesthetic treatments including wrinkle relaxers (Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Letybo®), dermal filler, Sculptra®, B-12 injections, and medical-grade skincare. Every treatment plan is personalized based on your features, concerns, and goals.

You don't need to know before you book! We'll talk through what you'd like to improve, evaluate your facial anatomy, and recommend options that make sense for you. Sometimes the treatment you initially have in mind isn't necessarily the one we'd recommend — and there's never any pressure to treat.

Your appointment begins with a consultation where we'll discuss your concerns, goals, medical history, and treatment options. Jeremy will evaluate your facial anatomy and create a personalized treatment plan before anything is done.
In most cases, if you decide you'd like to move forward and it's appropriate to do so, treatment can be performed during the same appointment.

All injectable treatments at The BTX Studio are performed by Jeremy Fong, PA-C, MPAS, a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 12 years of medical experience.

That's always the goal. Our approach is focused on enhancing your features and helping you look refreshed while still looking like yourself. Treatment plans are customized to your individual anatomy, concerns, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Pricing varies by treatment and, in some cases, by the amount of product needed. We believe in being transparent about pricing so you have an idea of what to expect before your appointment.

It depends on the treatment. Wrinkle relaxers typically require very little downtime, while filler and Sculptra may cause temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising. We'll review specific aftercare instructions with you based on the treatment you receive.

Often, yes. Depending on your goals and treatment plan, multiple treatments may be performed during the same visit. We'll determine what's appropriate for you during your consultation.
Botox/Neurotoxins

Botox and other neurotoxins are injectable treatments that temporarily relax targeted muscles to soften expression lines caused by repeated movements like frowning, squinting, and raising your eyebrows.
At The BTX Studio, we offer Botox®, Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and Letybo®.

Neurotoxins can be used in several areas of the face and body, including forehead lines, frown lines between the brows (11s), crow's feet, bunny lines, chin dimpling, a gummy smile, downturned corners of the mouth, masseter muscles, and neck bands. They can also be used for subtle treatments such as a brow lift or lip flip.
Your treatment will depend on your anatomy and goals.

You may begin noticing changes within a few days, but results continue developing after that. Depending on the neurotoxin used, it can take up to approximately two weeks to see your full result.

Results typically last around three to four months, although this varies from person to person based on the treatment area, dose, metabolism, muscle strength, and other individual factors.

Many patients schedule Botox or other neurotoxin treatments approximately every three to four months. There's no requirement to stay on a specific schedule, though — we can help determine a treatment frequency based on your goals and how long your individual results tend to last.

Most patients find treatment very tolerable. The needles used for neurotoxin injections are extremely small, and the injections themselves are very quick. You may feel a small pinch or sting at each injection point.

It doesn't have to! The goal is to soften unwanted lines while maintaining natural expression and movement. Your treatment is customized based on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and desired result.

Often, yes. Depending on your goals and treatment plan, multiple treatments may be performed during the same visit. Botox and other neurotoxins have a long history of medical and cosmetic use. When administered appropriately by a qualified medical professional, they are generally considered safe for suitable patients, although all injectable treatments carry potential risks and side effects.
We'll review your medical history, discuss potential risks, and determine whether you're an appropriate candidate before treatment.

There isn't a specific age when everyone should start. Treatment is based more on your anatomy, muscle movement, concerns, and personal goals than the number on your birthday.
Some people begin treatment when expression lines start bothering them, while others choose to wait until later. There's no age at which you "need" to start.

"Prejuvenation" refers to using aesthetic treatments before deeper signs of aging develop. Because Botox and other neurotoxins reduce repetitive muscle movement, they may help limit the repeated folding of the skin that contributes to expression lines becoming more noticeable over time.
The goal isn't necessarily to start as young as possible, but to use an appropriate treatment plan based on your individual anatomy and goals.

Cosmetic Botox and other neurotoxin treatments are generally postponed during pregnancy due to limited safety data. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or have questions about whether treatment is appropriate for you, let us know before your appointment so we can discuss your options.
Dermal Filler

Dermal filler is an injectable treatment used to restore or enhance volume, shape, structure, and facial proportions. Unlike wrinkle relaxers, which affect muscle movement, filler works by adding volume in carefully selected areas.

At The BTX Studio, we currently offer dermal filler treatments for the lips, cheeks, and chin. The areas recommended for you will depend on your anatomy and goals.

They address different concerns. Wrinkle relaxers temporarily reduce targeted muscle movement to soften expression lines, while dermal filler adds or restores volume and structure.
For some patients, the two treatments can complement each other as part of an overall treatment plan.

Filler longevity varies depending on the product used, treatment area, amount injected, and your individual metabolism. Some fillers and treatment areas may last longer than others. We'll discuss what you can reasonably expect based on your specific treatment plan.

Our approach is intentionally conservative and focused on maintaining natural facial proportions. The goal isn't to change what you look like — it's to enhance or restore specific features in a way that fits your face.

There isn't one answer for everyone. The amount depends on your anatomy, treatment area, starting point, and desired result.
We'll recommend an individualized treatment plan during your consultation rather than automatically recommending a certain number of syringes.

You may experience swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising after filler. Swelling is often most noticeable during the first few days and gradually improves as the area settles. We'll give you specific aftercare instructions based on your treatment.
Sculptra

Sculptra® is an injectable biostimulator made with poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Rather than simply adding immediate volume like traditional dermal filler, Sculptra works by stimulating your body's own collagen production over time.
Results develop gradually, making it an option for patients looking to restore facial volume and support with subtle, progressive changes.

Traditional dermal filler adds volume and structure directly to a specific area. Sculptra works differently by stimulating collagen production, so results develop gradually over the following weeks and months.
Which option makes sense for you depends on what you're trying to accomplish — and sometimes both may have a role in a treatment plan.

At The BTX Studio, we currently use Sculptra in the cheeks and temples to help restore volume, improve facial support, and stimulate collagen production.

Sculptra results aren't immediate. While you may initially notice fullness from the fluid used during treatment, that subsides. Your longer-term results develop gradually as your body produces new collagen over the following weeks and months.

Your treatment plan depends on your age, degree of volume loss, anatomy, and goals. Many patients require a series of treatments rather than a single appointment.
A commonly used starting guideline is approximately one vial per decade of life, but this isn't a rule or a recommendation for every patient. We'll determine an appropriate plan based on your individual needs.

Because Sculptra stimulates your own collagen production, results can be long-lasting and may remain visible for up to approximately two years or longer in some patients. Individual results vary.

You may experience temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising following treatment. We'll also provide specific post-treatment instructions, including any recommended massage protocol.
Before & After Your Appointment

Before your appointment, let us know about any medical conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, recent procedures, or other factors that may affect treatment.
Certain medications and supplements can increase bruising, but don't stop a prescribed medication unless instructed to do so by the healthcare professional who prescribed it.
Specific preparation may vary depending on the treatment you're receiving, and we'll let you know if there's anything additional you need to do.

Aftercare varies depending on whether you receive a wrinkle relaxer, filler, or Sculptra. We'll provide specific instructions based on your treatment before you leave your appointment.

Yes. We want you to feel confident about your results and treatment plan. Follow-up recommendations vary depending on the treatment you receive.
For wrinkle relaxers, we offer a complimentary two-week follow-up and touch-up when appropriate.
